Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, the Los Angeles Library, and a few odds and ends

Los Angeles’ post-modern cathedral, designed by architect Rafael Moneo, is the mother church of more than four million professed catholics in the greater Los Angeles diocese.  While lacking that grandness of the great European cathedrals (or even our own National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.), it is nonetheless an aesthetically fascinating structure.
